This is a sash buckle from either the Victorian Art Nouveau or Edwardian era. I believe it is made of brass but it is not marked and I have not tried to clean it. I did not find any marks on the buckle. There is a woman's face in the center with flowers on either side of her head. The buckle measures 4-1/4 inches long and 1-7/8 inches wide. The buckle is in good condition but does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by. |
