This is a Victorian or Edwardian sash buckle. It is marked France. I believe it is made of cut steel and has polished steel facets which appear to be riveted to the buckle. There is an Art Nouveau flower design on the buckle. It measures 1-3/4 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. It is in good condition but does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing.
