A large 14-sided paneled plate in the Hong Kong pattern, by Charles Meigh, circa 1845. Marked "Hong Kong" and also impressed with "Improved Stone China" on its underside. The color is strong and the condition is good on this hard to find very early pattern. Has some glaze missing (discoloration and roughness) on its edge. 10¼". |
