Material: Undetermined - Could be bone or faux ivory
Age: Unknown
The figure has been created in two parts then glued together. Front to back. I am not positive but the horns and mouth appear to have been
created from the main piece of the body.
If this is a Kachina?, I could not identify it. The piece has a case or sack mask with horns on either side of mask. Tube mouth and round eyes. I do not know what the ruff around the neck indicates. It goes completely around the neck. The round eyes and the blue design on the upper body are created by engraved indentations and stained blue. There is a hole drilled through the side of the neck through and through for possibly a very fine cord?
