Circa: circa 1940's Type: pottery Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: National Brotherhood of Potters
Great old butter dish from the 30’s I believe. It has a ribbed pattern of 4 lines that run lengthwise on the lid over the handle. The blue bottom has a rolled rib pattern. One tiny flea bite on the rim. No cracks or chips but it does have crazing and browning from the oils in the butter. Stands 3 5/8" tall by 6 1/8" long and 3 3/4" wide. It has the National Brotherhood of Potters mark on the bottom. I believe this was a Hall design as they were also in this union. Will hold a full pound.
