Flow Blue dinner plate marked Bisto England FWB is 9 1/2 in across. Has FBW marked on the back. There is a 1/4 in chip on the rim otherwise in good condition Flow blue was made in England and other countries about 1830 to 1900. The dishes were printed with designs using a cobalt blue coloring. The color flowed from the design to the white body so that the finished piece has a smeared blue design. The dishes were usually made of ironstone china.
