This attractive pattern was produced by Riverside Glass Works circa 1897. Offered for sale is a beautiful footed spoon vase or spooner in emerald green with gold trim.
I have done a fair amount of research on this pattern because it has been reproduced. The following details are offered to authenticate this tumbler as original. The scrolls on the new reproductions are very open and not as tightly curled as the original. The "new" green is very harsh and lacks the mellow tones of the original emerald green.
This gorgeous tumbler with gold trim measures 3 3/4" high.
This tumbler is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or discolorations, with minor wear to the gold trim.
