Circa: 1930's-40's Condition: Good++ Manufacturer: J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. BUFFALO N.Y. U.S.A.
This is a very nice vintage box combination wrench marked "WILLIAMS FORGED IN U.S.A. 7/8 & 3/4 SUPERRENCH 7731A ALLOY STEEL" and also has the W inside a diamond logo mark. It is 12.4" long and the two sizes (7/8" & 3/4") are confirmed as marked on the wrench at each respective end. This is a very sturdy wrench with the oval shaped bar between the heads, the bar measuring .37 x .80" wide. This model has an industrial finish something like Japanning in a gray/blue color. The condition is good++ with about 70% Japanning intact, but the finish is rather faded, both ends very good, minimal wear. From the 1930's-40's era, by a well known quality cast steel hand tool maker, Williams! |
