Porcelain. England. c. 1950s. Pale green, fades to white half-way down. Transfer of roses & green leaves, with touches of blue & gray. Interior of cup is white with a five rose &leaf transfer on one side. Saucer is scalloped. Lightly relief molded. Gilt edged & gilt band at foot of cup. Cup handle is white with gilt lining and gilt thumb rest. Marked: A crown with "AYNSLEY" in a banner underneath. "EST." "1775" over banner and separated by the crown. "ENGLAND" "BONE CHINA" "31" underneath. Also, cup has "5342/2 (or L) F" hand painted in gold over glaze. CONDITION: Excellent (pings) |
