This is an antique copper Liberty Bell brooch or pin. I think it might have been used as a convention badge. There is a metal tab attached to it that is dated August 11, 1896. The brooch has a C clasp at the top and a ribbon bracket near the bottom. The brooch measures 2 inches by 1-1/4 inches. It is in good condition but does have a very heavy age patina.
