Manufacturer: Colombia Glass Ornaments
These are 2 vintage glass Christmas ornaments, both marked Colombia on the gold-colored metal caps. Both are brightly colored and shimmery, one an elongated twisted shape in silver, green and red, with the other a fat petal flower shape in silver and red with a blue center dot on each side. They came out of the same home. There is no other manufacturer marking.
The old elongated ornament measures about 2 7/8 inches in length to the cap, 3 1/8 inches in length with the metal hanging ring, and about 1 1/4 inches in width and depth. The fat flower shape vintage ornament measures about 2 1/4 inches in length to the cap, 2 1/2 inches in length with the metal hanging ring, about 1 3/4 inches in width and 1 1/4 inches in depth.
We've provided 7 images to show from all angles, including one close-up of the Colombia on the cap which is hard to read but you can see the letters are there (we guarantee this is what this says and that you will read the Colombia clearly on the caps of both pieces). The camera lighting causes white "hot spot" reflections on the shiny surfaces. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
The flat flower ornament is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or pieces missing. There are only a few tiny spots where the top coloring has worn to show the silver glass underneath....there is nothing to worry about with this ornament. Unfortunately, until doing this listing, we did not notice that the elongated ornament has a very long, kind of stretched out "s" crack on one side. While we think it is still very usable/hangable for the other side, we want to be fair here. So we are pricing this listing to reflect only the fat flower piece and are including the elongated ornament for free.
