This is a nice clean .74" wide quality socket bevel chisel marked "MFG. BY UNION HARDWARE COMPANY TORRINGTON CONN.". This chisel has beveled edges, the cutting edge has been sharpened, and is ready to use. Little wear, some minor staining, no rust, good to use. We note one casting void area on the top beveled edge surface that doesn't effect use. The leather wrapped end of the handle is in good condition with a little wear, solid, fits tightly, is a little shorter then the average handle. Overall a sharp good quality chisel, ready for use. It measures 11.9" long overall, plenty of life left in this one! |
