This is a nice clean quality made 2 pound hardwood mallet with two iron rings on the ends, that contain inside a soft face solid material (I think it's leather material). This one is a 3.0 diameter x 5.5" head, and 13 long overall. This mallet is about the nicest antique soft face mallet I've seen! It was very well cared for. The handle is very well attached, made to use with full force. The iron rings are also well fit and attached. The iron rings keep the soft face material contained nicely. The condition is very good overall, a bit of wear in the center of the head ends, but still a really good useable mallet. |
