This is a nice 1.5 pound total weight hardwood (ash) mallet in good useable condition. As you can see it has been used over the years, with some wear on two ends mainly. The handle is hardwood, and is snuggly fitted into round socket in the mallet head, solid fit, no wiggle. The hardwood handle was tested and found very solid. The head block itself is 3.0" diameter x 5.8" and the block and handle length is 14.0" overall. There is no names on this one, but nicely made. The mallet is in pretty good shape, no fractures or cracks noted a few small chipped off edges, overall, very solid. |
