Noritake Deco black purple lemon server

This Noritake Art Deco 5 1/4' lemon server has a gold handle with some wear to the gold and a very interesting design. Highly stylized, the orange tulip shape, black/orange hyacinth, black and yellow leaves and the purple blue blossom combine with the mint green outer band to make it a very pleasing Deco combo!

Noritake Deco English stylefooted compote

This Noritake Art Deco 6 1/2' wide footed compote is a good example of how wide was the inspiration for some of Noritake's decorators. This piece is done is the style of many of the English pieces of the time. The color palette of oranges, yellow, purples will be familiar to collectors of Carlton for example.

In excellent shape, this piece would look lovely with some hard candy or bonbons on it, nestled next to some Chintz!

Noritake Deco luster ring portable ashtray

This cute little perfectly Art Deco piece of Noritake is most likely a portable individual ashtray. The shape is shown as A.171 on p. 47 of Spain's third book. I think the decoration of this tan luster ashtray is even nicer.

The ashtray measures 3' tall and stands 1' tall. The wide sloping rim has a great checker pattern on it, done in black, white and blue. It is in excellent condition and carries the red wreath mark. Add it to your collection today.

Noritake Deco pink prunus 7 dish

This 7 inch wide Noritake Art Deco bowl has a pleasing simplicity which appeals to me. Although the center is white, the rim is bursting with action. Gold dots on a black band for the background for the 4 pink prunis blossom cartouches. I like the light blue and gold border band which separates the cream color area from the black band. A very delicate example of early Art Deco as there is a green wreath mark on this piece. In excellent condition, add it to your Noritake collection today.

The central area of the plate has a mother-of-pearl luster background. A bold iris like purple and blue abstract blossom is in the lower half with a 4 petal orange tulip flower coming up from behind. Bellini signed 12 inch 3 luster baluster vase

the following information is courtesy of Guido Bitossi who shared it on October 18, 2013 in the Facebook group on Midcentury Italian Pottery & Bitossi.

This stunning vase is a product of the Bellini factory. The father started it in Lastra a Signa. When he passed, his son Arrigo and daughter Gioconda split the factory into two parts. Currently the grandaugher Sara is still involved in ceramics in a small factory. Arrigo Bellini worked and produced his ware in Montespertoli, about 10 minutes outside of Florence, Italy.

Signed Bellini, this vase is most likely from the 1960-1970 period and was made by Arrigo Bellini. Three different metallic luster surfaces in a very geometric pattern form the decoration on this stunning vase.

It is in excellent condition. Add it to your Midcentury Italian pottery collection today
