or fixed in an ordinary oven.
For the first time, everyone has all they
need to create beautiful decorated china at
home in personal kilns. The results are

perfect for presentation and display. ~
Innovative easy-to-follow techniques with
a stylish and imaginative approach to
Using ceramics for interior decoration.
The result is both a practical how-to-manual
and an inspirational style guide.
The projects include painted tiles for
the kitchen and bathroom; window boxes;
flower vases; storage jars; jugs and pots;
chests; mirror frames; and decorative
dinner and tea services.
~Of course, ideas and techniques can be
taken from one project and applied to many
others to suit individual abilities and
taste, giving endless creative scope.
~Beautiful, inspirational pictures of
finished pieces are reinforced by sections
on basic ceramic painting skills and
techniques; materials and equipment;
ources and suppliers; and the care and
aintenance of the finished objects.
The pleasure of painting ceramics does
not stop when you put your paints away;
hand-decorated china can last many years
with appropriate care, as described in this
book.
~ Innovative, accessible and the first of
its kind, Hand-Painting China opens the
doors of a craft with infinite different
applications that can be directly integrated
