A beautiful little patriotically decorated antique pressed glass finger lamp, this earlier 19th century through Civil War era lighting device is offered as found with an ATWOODS PAT OCT. 13, 1863 - JAN. 21, 1868. Clearly a period upgrade, we have an excavated example in our own collection, minus the burner and fixed burner collar, that was recovered from an early 1850s bottle dump at the site of the early Poland Spring watering site here in Maine. A wonderful little lighting device with a nice early burner all remains in excellent condition with no chips or cracks yet with lots of bottom surface wear as evidence of period use and originality. ALL ITEMS ARE CURRENT & AVAILABLE UNLESS MARKED SOLD!! Thanks for visiting Gunsight Antiques!
