Continental Kilns was only in operation from 1944-1957. It was founded by the famous designer Vincent Broomhall(1906-1991). Broomhall worked for Edwin M. Knowles China in Newell from 1935-1944. He left to open Continental Kilns in Chester W.VA. From 1962-1975, he was Art Director at the Homer Laughlin China Company but he also designed for Cannonsburg, Harker, Salem and Sterling during this time and after. This jar is the Green Arbor pattern. It is rare to find one with a glass spoon. The jar is 4.5 inches tall and has a total circumference of 12.75 inches. It has no chips,cracks or noticeable crazing.
