This is a nice clean 26" long, cherry wood plumb/level marked "HENRY DISSTON & SONS   KEYSTONE TOOL WORKS PHILAD'A" on the main brass cover plate, also marked on the brass cover plate is marked PAT. OCT.29.1912".  This is a nice plumb/level both glass sight tubes in working order, we do note that the round countersink area where once filled with brass plugs, those are now missing. The brass in very nice shape, only minor tiny dings and scratches. We set the level on a known flat surface, and it is flat on the bottom working surface, it will not rock will measure well. The wood has a beautiful dark cherry finish and a nice shine, some wear noted, some minor edge dings mostly, but no cracks or damage.  This is a rare level, one of the few we have ever seen over the past 16 years that we have been buying and selling antique tools!
