Large early antique yellow ware bowl. c: 1800's. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. This is a very large primitive looking bowl even though it doesn't look large in the picture. It is 12 wide x 5.5 tall. No chips or cracks; those small black dots in the picture are glaze pops; and the black lines on the exterior bottom are spidering/crazing, not hairlines. It does have a lot of crazing and because of its age, and appears a bit dingy which is typical of antique yellow ware. It looks great with green apples in it, or just to display with other yellow ware items!
