Vintage Enid Collins Sol Celestial Sun Sunburst Wooden Box Purse with Jewels, Signed, Circa 1966. OMG pristine condition. Very hard to find item, being Celestial Sun Motif and the colors are fantastic.

A lovely wooden box purse with hand painting and trimmed with Golden amber yellow jewels, gold tone shimmering beads and gimp braid trim. There is ornate trim on the wood finish on the end side corners. White leather trim and strap with a twist lock closure. White melamine type plastic handle with gold tone hardware. A nice, long, pin hinge with screws secures the front and back sides for easy opening.

Length side to side across 12 inches;
Height top to bottom no handle 6 1/2 inches;
Width front to back 2 7/8 inches;
Handle Drop 4 1/2 inches.

Excellent used condition, like new minimal use wear, better than pictures. There is wear, where the white leather meets the twist lock, but over all pristine. There is minimal corner wear and the inside is very clean with as seen very minimal anything. Imagine a purse from circa 1966 being this pristine!
