Fenton Art Glass Amber Thumbprint Compote. Beautiful flared rim. Fenton Art Glass in its early years of blowing glass in molds, did not mark their blown glass items. Later, they used paper labels and in the end years started marking with an embossed stamp Fenton and also used paper labels. This unmarked item is lovely. No chips, cracks air bubbles. Height 6 inch X Flared rim diameter over all 5 1/2 inch. Footed Pedestal diameter 3 inch. The top is blown and adhered to a 6 sided foot going down to a 3 section pedestal. Not you will see my finger pointing to a smooth mold spur. This is common for glass blown in a mold. This is beautiful.
