Fine Art Color Prints 1945 by celebrated American Artists published by People's Book Club Inc. Leather cover book with spiral binding with introduction to American Art by Reeves Lewenthel and brief biogrifhies of the 9 American Artist. Includes 9 full page color prints. The over all size of book measures length 22inch X 15 inch.

The first few pages are the introduction and pencil portraits by Irwin Hoffman of each of the 9 Artist each titled by name and a biography about each of 9 said Artist in this book.The 9 Artist and the titles of each of their color prints are as follows:

Thomas Hart Benton - Wreck of the old 97;

James Chapin - Here Am I;

Miguel Corrubias - Map of America;

Adolf Dehn - Tom's Farm;

Ernest Fiene - Wild Flowers;

Robert Philipp - By The Sea;

Paul Sample - County Fair;

William Schwartz - Walnut Street, Baraboo;

John Whorf - Flotsam.

Condition: the leather cover is spiral bounded. The corners have dents and some wear to cover such as scratches. Over all very good. The first introduction page has some foxing, but the remainder of the book including book in very good condition with minimal fixing. Over all excellent for framing if one wished,
