This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features "Fort Dearborn, Chicago World's Fair". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Fort Dearborn-Blockhouse & Soldiers' Barracks Of The Third Fort Dearborn, Reappear On The Shore Of Lake Michigan As Part Of The 1933 Century Of Progress Exposition. Near Here Stood The Original Blockhouse & Barracks Of The Old Fort Whose Inhabitants Were Victims In 1812 Of The Dearborn Massacre-Eventful Day In Chicago's Pioneer History" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
