Good-bye New York Gene Doll Outfit, No. 93501, is from 1999 when Gene and her accessories were produced by Ashton-Drake Galleries. The outfit is a part of the wardrobe of a fashion doll who represents a fictional character who was previously known as Katie Marshall before her acting days. The doll costume was designed by Mel Odom. for the 15.5 inch fashion doll. This outfit represents an outfit that Katie Marshall wore when she left New York for Hollywood around 1941 to pursue an acting career. The outfit includes a two-piece brown tweed and crepe wool suit with fur accents worn with a brown and white jersey blouse, brown fur hat and matching muff with a pocket for Gene's hanky. Jewelry includes golden teardrop earrings and a heart shaped scatter pin with chain. Matching brown high heel shoes, pantyhose, and a hat box are included. Also going is her childhood friend, a white jointed teddy bear. This is a retired Limited Edition that is mint in a window box package with her certificate and booklet.
