This is a nice clean antique 6" size outside spring caliper. It measures 7" long overall, the size (6") is measured from the center of the pivot joint to the tips. This caliper is marked "GOODELL-PRATT CO. GREENFIELD MASS. U.S.A.". It has no former owner's intials or names on it. It's in very good working condition with very little wear, no rust or damage, very nice in the tip areas and the threaded areas. A good heavy duty caliper. Measures 7" long overall.
Goodell-Pratt Co. was purchase by Millers Falls in 1931, so most tools marked "GOODELL-PRATT" were made before 1932.
