What a great clock this is! It is definitely hand painted porcelain (or china glaze). The clock has been serviced, and it's working and keeping proper time. The dial has great accents and the painted artwork on the front of the case is something to be proud to display.

This is a electric clock with a sessions mechanism. This clock features a boy and girl or man and woman seated on either side of the clock. The costumes are reminiscent of colonial times but could be from any of the 18th or 19th century eras. The boy is dressed in a blue coat with pink breeches and the girl in a pink dress.

The clock is housed in a grey ceramic or pottery case. The only identifying markings are on the clock face where it reads clock movement made by Sessions Made in the USA. The back includes patent numbers. The numbers date the clock mechanism to the early 1930s but I suspect the clock dates more to the 1940s or even 1950s.

The clock container is in to very good to excellent condition.

The clock has been serviced and is operating wonderfully. The cord is in good condition.
