Vintage lady head vase wallpocket. Lovely vintage head vase. She has an incised B on the bottom, and looks like some other letters but they are too far under the glaze to be sure. Might this be a B'lou head vase? (Betty Lou Nichols). No chips or cracks, but does have all-over crazing, not noticeable from about 14 inches away. On one of her eyelashes is a teensy dip in the lash, but it's not a chip, there is black paint there and it is glazed over, so it is a factory flaw; it is not even visible unless you look at her under your nose. She is 5.25 tall and 4.25 wide. A very similar one is shown on pg. 127 of K. Cole's book, but unmarked. (If you peruse the books on vintage head vases, most were not marked; many just had paper labels which fell off over time). Add some color and whimzy to your curio cabinet!
