Glass Animal depicting a Mother Pig. Made by the former Imperial Glass Co. Bellaire, OH somtime during the early to mid 1980's. The original Mother Pig which was in crystal was made by the Heisey Glass Co. in the late 40's. Imperial later made the Pig in other colors, thus the Heisey label on the Pig's backside. Has the ALIG marking on the opposite side in between the base of feet. Measures about 3" in height and 4 1/2" in length. Excellent condition with no damage. 2 photos show it dark and the other with some light going through it. Any "white" seen on the piece is just the glare from the natural light. PIece is solid glass and somewhat heavy. Great for any collector of Glass Animals or Pigs. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
