This is a very nice expansive brace auger bit, marked "JAMES SWAN CO. NO. 7" on the shank, in very small engraving letters. Also marked "J. S. CO." on the adjustable slide cutter face. It comes with the 1.75-3" range adjustable insert/cutter. It's length is 10" long overall and has a heavy duty 7/16" shank diameter. As you can see in the pictures, the graduated scale on the insert allow you to pre-set the size diameter that you want. In good++ condition, with very minor pitting here and there, about 90% like new! No rust or damage, sharp and ready to use.
