This a very clean used, yet like new cast steel scratch awl, marked "KLEIN TOOLS-U.S.A.  SCRATCH AWL" in raised cast lettering on the handle section.  It is a heavy duty tool that looks a bit like a punch, or ice pick, perhaps this is the reason it was marked as a scratch awl as it's original intended purpose.  It has flats on the end head that keep it from rolling off the work bench.  It measures almost 7" long overall.  No rust, no damage, sharp and ready to use.  I have not seen one like this in over 15 years!  Very nice design!
