Unusual chocolate brown soapstone censer, decorated on all sides and top with playful foo dogs. The handles depict baku heads and the tripod feet rest on an attached soapstone base. Naturally dark brown soapstone pieces are hard to find, especially in such good condition. Circa late 19th (or early 20th) century. Dimensions: 11" (H), 8" (W), 6½"(Diam).
