Large vintage RRP oil jar. c:1937-1980's. Likely made in the 1930's due to the color and well worn bottom rim. It stands 16 inches tall and has incised mark: '139 / USA' and is shown in the book on RRP. These can be spray painted to go with your decor; I spray some of my vintage pottery satin white by Rustoleum for a more contemporary look and it works great; see photo #6 of my mauve oil jard that I refurbished satin white and use in my home! These large jards are nice for indoors or the outdoor garden in the summer; you can just drill a drainage hole in bottom center if using outdoors.
