Large vintage porcelain platter or vanity tray. No maker's mark on it but I am sure that it was made in Japan as I came across the identical pattern on a pitcher that had a Japan foil label on bottom. Since most imports come from China now, I would estimate it is from the 1950's or earlier. It has gold painted roses and no chips or cracks. It is 16.5 long x 12 wide. Perfect as an accessory platter for any elegant occasion. 12/08esa#
