Peter Bull, a devotee of astrology and co-owner of a London tearoom called Zodiac: the Astrological Emporium, had a series of 12 books published in the Zodiac Bear series. Nisbet re-created each of the characters from the series of 12 childrens' books and this bear is Leo.
