  • Lg. Anvil #200 Hay Budden?

Antique Junction

Very large Anvil weighing nearly 200 lbs and to be exact 197 lbs. Near certain it to be a Hay Budden but the side area where the manufacture name appears is very weak and dinged up (last couple of photos). There is still a pair of double D's (last photo circled in red) that are still legible but none of other lettering is clear. Anvil does show some use wear, dings and minor paint splatter, etc. Wear is noted on the top flat edges and the flat area behind the horn. I do not see any other significant damage or repairs to note. Measurements of this Anvil are similar to those of other Hay Budden of this weight. 12 1/4" high, total length 27" 5 1/4" widest area on top flat, flat behind the Horn is 3 1/2" wide, base is 13 x 11". Hardy hole is 1 1/4" and the Pritchel hole is 3/4". Any other questions or photos needed please ask in advance. Anvil must be picked up. I'm located 2 hours east of Columbus, Ohio and 1 hour Southwest of Pittsburgh just off I-70. I'd be willing to meet you with an hour drive of my location at no additional charge. If you are into bigger items such as this please also check out the Large Vise which I'm also offering.
