Hard to find English Lovatt pottery handpainted vase, circa 1890s. This is one of a pair of vases and is unmarked. The neck is a rich brown high glaze pottery, trimmed with gold and the dark blue/turquoise body has a threaded appearance, upon which the design is painted. It is hard to find a matching pair of old Lovatt vases, especially in such good. ~5½" (H). (See other vase: #G140a in last picture).
