Wonderful vintage Wedgwood China trinket dish or pin dish in their lovely Kutani Crane pattern. Fully marked with Wedgwood Urn insignia on backside with "Wedgwood, Bone China, Made in England" and the pattern name, "Kutani Crane".

Bone china or porcelain, this piece is translucent and has a roughly oval shape with gently fluted or paneled sides. Has flat lowered center with slightly flared outward upturned sides. Measures about 4 3/8 inches in length, 3 1/8 inches in width and sits 9/16 inch in height. This vintage small side dish weighs 2.4 ounces unpacked.

Terrific multi-color design with an Asian type feel. Has a large central crane bird among flowers, bamboo stems & leaves. Two other groupings of pretty flowers appear on the inner side panels with two single flowers on the inner end panels. Has gold line trim. Background color is white, with white also for the underside.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or major flaws that we see. This piece looks unused to us, clean and bright. It came out of a home, so it may have just sat on display, we don't know. On the underside base rim on which this piece sits, there are two very, very low or flat flakes that were hard to find, nothing to worry about. It is possible this vintage piece has some other minor age/sitting/cleaning/handling wear, but nothing jumps out at us.
