A handbook of teaching English with everyday examples of word usage, sentence building, etc. There are tests and further guides at the rear of the book. It is also heavily illustrated, in color, by Philip Martin. Contributors were R. W. Bardwell, Spt of Schools, LaCrosse, Wi, ethel Mabie Falk, Dir of Curriculum for Public Schools of Madison, Wi, and J. C. Tressler, Head of English Dept Richmond Hill High School, New York City. The binding is so tight one thinks it may never have been used.
