Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: late 1800's
Condition: Good++
Manufacturer: Marsh Bros. & Co.
This is a unique shaped carving chisel that is 3/4" wide at the cutting edge, and has the flat sweep arc, gouge chisel. This one is marked "MARSH BROS. & CO." on the steel. We believe this to be an English toolmaker during the late 1800's to early 1900's era. It is 9.1" long overall, sharp, ready to use condition, no rust or pitting, and and has the English style 8 sided hardwood handle with the brass ferrule, in good solid, nice looking condition. A very hard to find style in great shape overall!
