Mary Hoyer 14 inch, slender hard vinyl strung doll, Signed Doll from 1997, put together special and signed on the foot by the granddaughter of Mary Hoyer who was at the head of the company in 1997; has auburn ringlets wig, and has brown glass stationery eyes. Her custom designed outfit includes a tagged original teal print dress and black leatherette shoes. She looks almost like 1940s and 1950s dolls, but her eyes do not move, and she is a bit more slender than they were. This doll never had a box as she was custom assembled, as were many other of these dolls in 1997. Mary Hoyer's granddaughter designed this doll for me in 1997 when she attended a The Modern Doll Convention and show in San Diego, California. Mint condition.
