Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: 1920's-30's
Manufacturer: Maydole
This is a nice clean antique carpenter's hammer marked "MAYDOLE MADE IN U.S.A." on one side of the head. It weighs about 20 ounces, and is 13" long overall. There is some dings on the side opposite the name mostly.  The hammer has what appears to be a very good handle that is marked with a trade name WORTHINGTON on one side.  The hammer head has a very good claw area, and only one small chip off the corner edge/end area of the hammer claw one side, which most likely will not be an use issue. The handle is held to the head by a wooden wedge, and fit very well overall. Made to last!
