Antique Tiles

Circa: 1970's
Manufacturer: Mckusick Gila Pottery Globe Arizona
A 6" McKusick Gila Pottery tile of a painted pony standing in a desert scene of cactus. By the length of the legs, I would have to say this represents a foal. The tile was originally designed by Daniel Nash and has the flying swallow found in Nash's work. Tile is in very good condition and the cork backing and paper label are present. Nash's impressed mark is in the lower right corner, although it is not a great impression, but it is there.
