Antique ironstone covered serving dish.  This oval bowl is 9" X 6" without handle.  The mark is Alfred Meakin, England Royal Ironstone China which was made from 1875 to 1897.  There is a fine crack on the rose handle (see picture) on the lid, but otherwise in excellent condition.
