Antique Tiles

Manufacturer: Moravian Pottery
This tile depicts a robin sitting in the branches of a tree. Done in high glazes, the tree stems and parts of the robin are in a speckled brown, his beak and feet are a yellow gold, his breast is a muted orange and the leaves and background recesses are green. Made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, circa 1920. There is a chip to the side of the tile at the base of the robin's tail (which can not be seen when looking at the tile from the top down). No other chips. The glazes are fabulous! Measures 3 1/4" from top to bottom and about 3 1/2" from beak to tail.
