War Between the States

Used, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 postcard, with full color illustration. Descriptive text on the reverse: Erected at a cost of over $100,000, located on the top of Lookout Mountain from which point a view of six states can be obtained. The "Battle of Lookout Mountain" or the "Battle Above the Clouds" was fought near this monument, Nov. 24th, 1863. C.D.S., Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Aug. 30, 1943. This card was sent "free" from this military base during World War II. Completely ID with the name, rank and regiment of the female soldier who sent this card. Desirable.
