In next week's issue -- Just about everyone has a smart phone with a camera on it now. In the next issue we want to feature a photo of a favorite antique or collectible from YOUR collection. Send us a photo and a brief description telling us why you chose to share this item with us and we'll run it in an upcoming issue. Email your photos and descriptions to phil@tias.com

The attached photo is of a fish flash, which I inherited when my aunt died. It belonged to an ancestor, however, I am unable to even determine which side of the family it came from, as sisters married brothers and family items from both sides were intermingled. The flask is 8 3/4" long x 3 3/4" wide. Does anyone know the location of the pottery where this kind of flask was made and the approximate year? That should help me solve the mystery of which ancestor kept a flask in his pocket! I have no idea of the value, but it is priceless to me. Susan S - Editors note - You can see a photo of the "Fish Flask" on our facebook at: http://on.fb.me/S4yqP3

When our twins Katie and Cathy went for their kindergarten interview to see if they were ready for school, they split them up and asked them questions like where they lived, what was their full names and the other things they thought the twins should know. When they asked Cathy what her full name was she replied Cathy McTaffy the teacher looked at me with a quizzical look. Our last name is Prestia. I had to prod Cathy for the right information. You see I have 3 girls and I always called them by their nick names Courtney McGorkey,Katie McGradie and Cathy McTaffy. they are 18 and 20 years old now and we still get a good laugh at little Cathy's answer. D.
