Minnesota's Attic

Circa: unknown
Type: Birds
Manufacturer: unknown
This is a stunning pair of porcelain birds. A a set of large parrots or some sort of jay bird seated
on top a branch with a single pink flower. The center of the flower is done in a spaghetti
porcelain. Some of these might be broken, hard to tell or if they were made shorter then the
others. The male has no chips crakcs or dings. He stands a striking 11 1/4" tall with its wings
spread to 6" wide. The softer colors give it a realistic look. Can’t be certain if it is a parrot of in
the jay family with the black stripes on the wings. The other is the female I believe. After close
inspection with a magnifying glass I noticed she has been repaired at the base. Other then a thin
chip on the back of the stump this would never be noticed. She stands 10 1/4" tall by 5 3/4" wide.
