This is a very nice, solid, useable ratchet brace made and marked "PEXTO MADE IN USA" on the handle arm, also marked "MB1-10" on the chuck arm. This is the best brace of this size and model number we have had for sale in 20 years!  A fine looking and working hand tool! This brace features good solid, polished cocobola handles in good solid condition, with some minor wear, no cracks. The metal is clean, no rust, no pitting, about 90% of the original nickel plating still intact. The chuck works perfectly, as well as the ratchet. A nice old antique brace in great working condition. Has a very heavy duty chuck and chuck sleeve, nice design.
The end handle spindle is ball bearing flange plate, very smooth turning!
The PEXTO logo is that of Peck Stow & Wilcox Co., a well known, respected tool maker in the early 1900's.
