R. Capodimonte MAS Angel, Cherub and Dragon Demitasse Coffee Pot, Tray, Bell, Sugar Bowl and 10 Demitasse Cups and saucers making a 26 piece beautiful set, by R Capodimonte MAS, Italy, circa 1960s. Wonderful for after dinner espresso and cappuccino.

(R. Capodimonte Di Morra Assunta, M.A.S., was located in Portici, near Naples, Italy from 1960's to 1980s. The factory not only made decorative porcelains but exported and distributed items made by others during this time)

This beautiful pattern features a cream background with pink, blue, green, yellow and shades of brown decor with angels and cherubs around the sides and dragon handles on the demitasse cups, sugar bowl and dragon head on the coffee pot spout, see picture in listing. This set is accented beautifully with gold trim, also all the demitasses have the gold inside and the gold is excellent on and in all 10. I say Angel and Cherub motif as some are angels and have wings and some are cherubs, no wings. See pictures and video. Some are dancing, some appear to be courting or giving a hand and some are gazing with glee, seemingly. Accented around them are birds, grasses, flowers, ribbons and seemingly they are in the garden or along the garden wall. Also note: The bottom neck of the spout has a type of Man or Lion image. The Bell has a cherub on top, playing the flute. The demitasse cups each sit along the outer, scalloped edge of tray.

This gorgeous set includes the following with condition:

1. The tray with handle.
Measures
Length Side to side across 19.5 inches.
Width Front to back 15 inches.
No chips, no cracks and no crazing. The handle can come off and has washers and pads both on top and bottom and a nut you screw on underside.

2. Bell that sits in the middle of the tray.
Height 6 inches.
No chips, no cracks and no crazing. But the dinger needs to be glued back on. I have left just as found and will include with shipment. There is a flat piece, I believe that was once glued to the bell inside top area, that leads to the chain and a little glass ball for the ding. Easy fix, but selling as found.

3. Ten Demitasse Cups
Holds 2 fluid ounces each.
Height 2 1/2 inches to cup rim Height to top of dragon head 2 7/8 inches;
Length across top center rim 1 7/8 inches and over all side of cup to outside edge of dragon chest on handle 2 7/8 inches;
9 of the Demitasse cups condition, no chips, no cracks and no crazing, but (1 of the 10 cups has been broken and glued back together at the area of the dragon neck and (1) of the cups has a spur near the outer rim. Please see listing pictures of the two cups noted. (replacements are available on the market if you desire).

4. Ten Demitasses Saucers
Height from table 3/4 inches;
Length side to side across 4 inches.
8 of the saucers condition No Chips, No cracks and No crazing. (1) of the ten has some dents on the inner rim, but I feel it is from the making. Also, (1) of the saucers has a few chips on the bottom inner rim. See picture.

5. Coffee Pot and Lid
Holds 26 fluid ounces or 3 1/4 cups fluid.
Height 9 inches;
Length spout side across to outer edge of handle 7 3/4 inches;
Width front of pot to back of pot 5 inches.
No chips, No cracks and No crazing, just gorgeous. Not damaged, but factually, the lid rocks just slightly, just the way it was made, Both the pot top inside rim and the lid inner sides have format flat areas that allows the lid rim to go down into the pot.

6. Sugar Bowl and Lid
Height 4 1/4 inches;
Length side of handle across to opposite side of handle 5 1/4 inches;
Width front to back 3 3/4 inches.
No chips no cracks and No crazing.

I will ship this well packed for safe shipping. I will remove the handle on the tray and place the parts in envelope. ( This is to prevent shipping damages) You will need help to put it back on, one person to hold handle and tray and one to install. (one person could do it, but much easier with two) Shipping cost is actual cost, no handling or material fees. Note this is a big, heavy box hence the tray size 19.5 X 15 inches.... The set, completely boxed to ship, in the box weighs 15 pounds.
